In today’s world, everyone tries to find self-worth and financial independence. Vocational trainings like computer literacy allows people to find jobs and strengthen their opportunities. VYOM believes as the labor market becomes more specialised and economies demand higher levels of skill vocational training focuses on practical skills that students can put to use in a job immediately. Under the project “Youth and Skill Development”, a group of 20 students in both villages, Umerva and Pavlepur had been selected to undergo a computer training program with emphasis on Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. The challenge here is to help the youth in gaining confidence and assessing their potential and training them adequately in computer literacy. We are sure this would help them in the long run and also open various opportunities or job fronts for them.
